United States District Court Rules in Favor of BLG’s Client in Title IX Case

November 11, 2022

The Federal Court in Alexandria recently ruled in favor of Bosson Legal Group’s client in a case against the Loudoun County School Board for Title IX discrimination. In this case, BLG attorneys Tim Bosson and Rob Rose argued for a high school student, who suffered physical and verbal harassment that created a hostile environment for her at the public high school. Ultimately the harassment deprived her of access to the JROTC program and led to her having to switch schools. Over the School Board’s motion to dismiss, the Court ruled that the facts pled by BLG clearly demonstrated a Title IX cause of action. The case now will continue towards trial. This case is just another example of BLG fighting for the marginalized and vulnerable harassed by their schools or employers.
