Following briefing by BLG’s attorneys, a three-judge panel ruled against ex-attorney Bradley Pollack in his frivolous appeal of a trial court ruling that quashed his lien for attorneys fees. BLG attorneys Tim Bosson and Arie Jones successfully achieved full compensation for Ms. Jahshan for the attorney’s fees she incurred defending against Pollack’s campaign.

Following closing arguments by BLG’s attorneys, a Fairfax County jury awarded BLG’s client $175,555.45 in damages, finding that a Chantilly-based renovation company breached its contract by delivering incomplete and defective work.

BLG secured a policy limits settlement with a commercial auto insurer after it initially denied coverage to a woman who was severely injured and partially disabled when struck by an intoxicated driver. The parties reached a resolution prior to trial, with the commercial auto insurer tendering its full policy limits of $1,000,000.00, and the Defendant’s personal insurer contributing an additional $25,000.00.

In early June, the Fairfax County Circuit Court issued an opinion letter, siding with Bosson Legal Group and provided further clarity to the Virginia Supreme Court’s Rule governing motions to stay discovery.
